We’re starting a community garden
Dale Cushinberry has agreed to let us use his plot at 19th & Fillmore to plant a community garden. In the morning on Saturday, August 15, we’ll be digging a 100 square-foot patch. We’ll be back on Saturday, the 29th, to plant.
If you’re around the neighborhood on either of those days, we could use some help digging and planting — and it will be a great family event.
We’ll be planting:
marigolds
cabbage
kale
dill
collards
