The Rethink Topeka commitee invites all participating artists to the capitol city to view, paint, draw, print, film, compose, record, evaluate, research, photograph, or interpret various aspects of the town.

This event is part of a larger art event called Rethink Topeka that will occur on April 17th, 2010.  For more information about the 1st Annual Rethink Topeka as well as this event visit www.rethinktopeka.com. There will be a brunch to welcome visiting artists to Topeka at 10:30 am at Warehouse 414, located at 414 SE 2nd St., Topeka, KS 66607-1102.  Food and drinks will be provided.    Discussion and explanations of the key sites will be presented and maps with directions will be provided.  A committee member will escort those participating artists to selected sites to create place-based artwork about Topeka.

Participating artists, however, are welcome to visit Topeka at anytime to draw inspiration from city neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and landmarks.   Please RSVP to rethinktopeka@gmail.com by Sat.
