Foundations

Co-chairs of each foundation will work with teams to carry out the vision and mission of Chords and Oil, and report back to the board (all co-chairs) on activities under each foundation. Each co-chair will have a vote at board meetings. Ideally there will be 2 co-chairs per foundation, but 3 co-chairs may sometimes work. At least one co-chair from each foundation should be prepared to report on their foundation’s happenings at each board meeting.

Team Leaders
Every project and program will have a team leader, appointed by foundation co-chairs. This team leader will be responsible for recruiting a team or committee to assist in handling the details and recruiting artists for execution or exhibition. Co-chairs from any foundation on Chords and Oil board can also serve as team leaders. Team leaders must report to board members (foundation co-chairs) on a regular basis. Team leaders are not board members, and there is no limit to how many team leaders Chords and Oil can have at any given time.
